In 1943, a broken, solitary, and spitfire ace, Flight Lieutenant Douglas Miller, who had survived the Battle of Britain, transferred to Bomber Command, determined to take the war to the skies over Germany. Angered and bereaved by the death of his younger brother, Douglas was determined to wage war at any cost.
Upon arriving at his new posting, he was given the unenviable task of replacing the much-loved Skipper of an experienced Lancaster Bomber crew, who had been killed in action just days before. Struggling to bond with his new crew, Douglas had to find a way to gain their trust and overcome his inner demons in order to become the leader they so desperately needed.
The theatrical premiere of this film was accompanied by a recorded Q&A with the Director, and a black and white feature version is also available on disc as a bonus material.
